Aaron Walton
CEO / Founder
Aaron is the Owner and Founder of Midtown Auto Repair Services, Inc. He moved to Kodiak with his parents when he was a child, and graduated from KHS. He is a graduate from UAA , with an Associates Degree in Applied Science / Automotive Technology. Aaron received all his Automotive training in the Ford ASSET program, achieving the status of Ford Master Certifications. During his employment at two different Ford Dealerships here in Alaska, He accelled in the area of troubleshooting & diagnostic work, which became one of his passions. Along his journey he has served 4 years in the US Marines, combat veteran of Operation Desert Storm, 16 years with the Alaska Air National Guard, combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Aaron and his wife Michelle have been married for nearly 30 years and have raised 7 children. Even though he is not from Kodiak, the island will always be considered to be his home, and he has no plans to ever leave the great state of Alaska.
Ashley Huling
Office Manager & Senior Service Advisor
Ashley joined the Midtown team in the summer of 2023 to support our office staff after nearly two decades as a Dental Assistant. Seeking a change, she decided to join her husband, Justin, who is Midtown’s Shop Foreman, and made the transition to the automotive industry.
Originally from Oklahoma, Ashley has several siblings in Kodiak and two adult children. In her free time, she loves getting outdoors—hiking, fishing, riding ATVs, and spending quality time with friends. Her favorite quote is, “Everything happens for a reason.”
Autumn Anderson
Service Advisor
Autumn has been a Service Advisor at Midtown since April 2024. Her love of automobiles and understanding of how they work have driven her passion for this career. A 2023 graduate of Kodiak High School, she cherishes her close-knit family and siblings who also call the island home. Kodiak holds a special place in her heart, and she is proud to be part of this community.
Rebecca Wolkoff
Service Advisor
Rebecca is the newest member of the Midtown team, serving as our Service Advisor. While she may be new to the automotive field, her exceptional customer service skills are invaluable to our operation. Her brother, TJ, is also part of our team as a Technician, and the sibling dynamic adds a unique touch to their collaboration. A proud Kodiak native, Rebecca has many relatives and siblings on the island. Like Ashley, she comes to us with a background in the medical field. After spending time living in Montana and Washington, the call of island life brought her back home to Kodiak.
Raymond Rider
Parts Advisor
Raymond, who previously worked as a Maintenance Technician & Service Advisor now runs our parts department. Though new to the role, he has excelled and quickly recognized the vital importance of his position.
In addition to his many talents in the workplace, Ray is a skilled artist and enjoys cooking in his free time. His diverse skill set and passion for creativity make him a valuable asset to our team.
Justin Huling
Shop Foreman & ASE Master Technician
Justin is Midtown’s greatest success story. He started at the shop while still at Kodiak High School. He has progressed from a shop helper sweeping floors to Shop Foreman and also holds a Master ASE Certified Technician. His dedication and passion for automotive excellence have been integral to our team.With a keen eye for detail, Justin ensures that every repair meets the highest standards. Outside of work, he enjoys spending weekends hiking, camping, and four-wheeling with his wife, Ashley—who recently joined the Midtown team—and their two children in the beautiful Kodiak outdoors.
Jeremy Stone
Journeyman Technician
Jeremy is one of our skilled Journeyman Technicians, capable of tackling any challenge that comes his way. A graduate of Kodiak High School, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two daughters. Despite commuting over 35 miles one way to get to work, he appreciates the remote, rural lifestyle he leads outside of town.
Throughout his automotive career, Jeremy has worked at various shops across Alaska, but Kodiak is where he truly feels at home—and he’s here to stay.
TJ Wolkoff Jr.
Journeyman Technician
TJ has worked his way up from Maintenance to becoming a Journeyman Technician, truly shining in this role with his forward-thinking approach and attention to detail. He takes pride in his work, and it shows in every repair he makes. His thirst for knowledge and growth has made him a vital part of Midtown.
Outside of work, TJ enjoys fishing, four-wheeling, and spending quality time with his wife and young son.
Elijah Gonzales
Maintenance Specialist
Eli works with us as a Maintenance Technician and has his sights set on a technician apprenticeship. Goal-oriented and dedicated, he makes it his personal mission to provide top-notch work while maintaining a positive attitude. Always ready to bring a smile to those around him, we like to refer to him as the life or spark of Midtown. When he’s not at the shop brightening our days, Eli enjoys spending time on the golf course or hanging out with friends and family.
Austin O'Quinn
Shop Helper / Porter & Maintenance Specialist
Austin has been with Midtown for over three years, initially working as a shop helper to ensure the facility always looks its best. During this time, he has gathered valuable knowledge and skills that have led him to a Maintenance Technician apprenticeship, working alongside our main technician. His eagerness to learn has been a great asset to our team.
Austin has grown up here and graduated from KHS alongside his younger sibling. In his off time, he enjoys the gym and spending quality time with family and friends.
Dylan Vizzone
Journeyman Technician
Dylan recently joined our team and is now proudly calling Kodiak home. Originally from Illinois, he comes to us as a Ford Certified Technician and is the go-to guy for any Ford issues. While he has expertise in all areas of vehicle repairs, his true strength lies in diagnostics—check engine light? No problem. Wiring? He’s got you covered. Outside of work, Dylan and his wife are excitedly welcoming their first child. He has fully embraced the outdoor activities Kodiak has to offer and is loving every moment of it.
